The AYQON meeting was held via video conference under the chair of AYQON President Mr. Tep Neavea on May 8, 2020. Current total of AYQON representatives is 49 from 15 Agencies including the Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA). During the Zoom Meeting, participants discussed how to engage more efficiently with other AYQON members, especially amid COVID-19. A variety of opinions to engage more efficiently with other AYQON members were given such as active communication through email, conducting online survey for the need analysis, organization of webinars and online training courses, etc… They also talked about the Network’s future activities (in 2020 and 2021) which focused on compilation learning resources on AYQON website, development of training content and quality assurance (QA) practices, webinars for training of trainers and engagement with other regional networks (INQAAHE, APQN). AYQON was established in 2015 in light of AQAN’s aspirations to encourage greater collaboration among young QA officers below the age of 40 years old in the regional cooperation on QA. The purpose of AYQON is to give the opportunities to young QA officers from ASEAN member countries to share development on their QA systems and exchange of ideas, perspectives, aspirations and experiences. |
